Hours for curbside pickup service at the Main Library are:

1. Request your items using the online catalog.

2. Await confirmation that your holds are ready for pickup.

  • When your holds are ready for pickup, you will receive an email, phone, or text message stating that your “LIBRARY HOLDS ARE READY.” The message will direct you to a website where you can book an appointment to pick up your holds.

  • If you are not sure if your holds are ready, check your library account.

3. Make an appointment.

  • Once your ‘LIBRARY HOLDS ARE READY," then schedule your pickup appointment.

  • Select a date and time for pickup within the hours listed above. You can make an appointment up to 4 hours ahead of when you want to come. For example, if you want to come at 5 pm, you will have to make your appointment by 1 pm.

  • If you have multiple items on hold and email notifications are coming in individually for each one, you can book an appointment for each item as you receive the email notifications. Or you could wait to book an appointment when several or all your holds are ready. An item on hold will expire 12 days after you receive your initial email notification.

4. Show up at your appointment time.

  • You must wear a mask to pick up your holds. Staff will also be wearing PPE and observing social distancing.

  • Follow the signage and walk up to the table.

  • It is ok to bring any returns you have with you. We are still not accepting any donations.

  • Library staff will hand over your items to you. Enjoy!

Summer Learning Challenge: To pick up a Summer Prize Book for your child, you will need to complete this form. A staff member will reach out to you to set or confirm your appointment, so you only need one appointment.
