Dia De Los Muertos Storytime & Ofrenda Activities In-Person
Join us at 1 PM in the Book Bubble for a Dia de los Muertos Storytime- followed by crafts in the Makerspace.
We will be making a variety of crafts to add to our Ofrenda here in the Children's Department.
In honor of our loved ones that have passed on, we will be crafting paper marigolds, drawing portraits of our loved ones, and coloring in wooden sugar skulls to decorate SMPL's Children's Department Ofrenda. These crafts are also welcome to go home and decorate your own ofrendas. Additionally, we will have scratch off sugar skull masks for you to wear and take home!
We will have the Children's Department Ofrenda up throughout November.
