Reach Codes Community Meeting In-Person
The City of San Mateo wants to hear feedback from the community on policies, reach codes, that exceed state code minimum requirements and help meet our climate goals. The City is considering several reach code options including requirements during cooling upgrade projects and renovations of 1,000 SF or more in single family, townhomes and duplexes. These requirements help reduce carbon emissions in our buildings and result in more efficient buildings. Community feedback will be presented at an upcoming City Council discussion on reach codes.
