Veggie Gardening: Fall Beginnings and Summer Endings In-Person
Join Master Gardeners Naomi Mier and Carolyn Dorsch for a presentation on vegetable gardening in the fall. Learn about all of the wonderful cooler season crops that you can grow for the rest of the year, including root vegetables, brassicas, various leafy greens, and some cool-season herbs. They will share their experiences with easy to grow veggies, and offer many tips on how to get the most out of your garden. There will also be discussion on finishing up the summer season, and preparing your growing spaces for the next season, whether it be fall or spring. Free seeds and seedlings for all attendees. This event will be held in the Oak Room.
