Are you interested in electrifying your home but not interested in the legwork of developing your own home electrification plan? Switching to electric heating and cooking technologies creates safer homes and communities for generations to come, but the process can be complicated. The City of San Mateo, 350 Silicon Valley and Peninsula Clean Energy are partnering to host a community-led workshop that will share information on how to take advantage of new direct installation and concierge services to make home electrification easier than ever. 

Information will also be shared on steps you can take to avoid upsizing your electric panel in the process, and the latest rebates and financing for going electric.  This workshop will feature speakers from Peninsula Clean Energy and Home Energy Analytics. You will meet local electrification contractors and homeowners who have “electrified.” Workshop attendees will walk away with multiple pathways for undertaking their electric journey ranging from easy to all-DIY.  Snacks will be provided.
