Please join us in the Book Bubble at San Mateo Public Library- Main, and meet illustrator and comic artist Kay Davault!
At this event, she will talk about how she got into comics and her process when making them!
No registration required- There will be a book giveaway- while supplies last.
Her debut graphic novel Star Knights was chosen as an Indie Next book, was a part of the 2022 Indies Introduce list, and was featured in ALA’s 2022 Best Graphic Novels for Children list. Misfit Mansion was chosen as a 2023 Indie Next Book, and is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection book. She enjoys creating engaging characters and creepy monsters within colorful fantasy worlds, and showing all sides of life, both beautiful and scary. Her dream is to create the stories she wish she had as a kid.
