Author Nidhi Chanani In-Person
Author Nidhi Chanani is a freelance illustrator, cartoonist, and author. Her graphic novels Pashmina and Jukebox received starred reviews and have been selected for many best of lists, including the American Library Association's Top Ten Great Graphic Novels. Nidhi will discuss her path to comics, her creative process for writing and drawing, and finish with an interactive drawing demonstration. Free books for kids while supplies last. Registration required, two persons per registration.
This program is a part of a month-long celebration of comics. Check out The Peninsula Library Comic Arts Fest website for more author visits, workshops and awesome events at local library throughout San Mateo County.
